A few months ago, I saw pics online of The Bucket's drool worthy onion rings and stopped in to try them. Sadly, that day they were out so I went home disappointed. The other day I was driving by with my nephew, and he wanted a cheeseburger so I decided to give it another shot. The Bucket is a little no-frills hamburger stand that has been a staple on the Eagle Rock community since 1935. It closed briefly from 2013 - 2018 due to a lease dispute and is now under new ownership. In addition to classic burgers, menu items include burritos, tacos, wings, & loaded fries. (Impossible burger, burrito, & taco also available.) My nephew ordered the Bucket Burger (cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, & thousand island dressing) and fries. Thankfully, they had onion rings this time, so I got an order. There is an enclosed patio area with seating and a tv. Each table has a little bucket on it with packets of ketchup. We grabbed a spot and waited for our food, which didn't take long. My nephew inhaled his burger. He loved it. The seasoned fries were exceptionally good. Thick & hot. Crispy outside and fluffy inside. I liked the seasoning in which they were tossed. The onion rings did not disappoint and tasted as good as they looked. Thick slices coated in seasoned breading and perfectly fried. They weren't greasy, which was a bonus. I also liked the dipping sauce that accompanied the rings. It was a spicy ranch. My nephew said he'd comeback. I would too. *Beer available *Small parking lot or street parking

Very casual spot for a great burger and fries. The burger was pretty darn good and fries were better than average. Loved the patio area as I prefer that over the in door seating when having a quick burger and fries. My number one go to spot for a great burger in this side of LA. Well done guys.

These guys are incredible, consistent & good value, quick stop for chicken wings & onion rings. Perfectly cooked, crispy, chewy, tasty. The onion rings are lightly breaded, tasty & crispy with a lighter than you'd expect crispiness !! Funk outdoor patio seatingk, clean, easy parking & can't wait to try their burgers. ps... the pile of bacon inside by the grill is a thing of beauty !!! Lots of people order online ahead & drop in to pick up!!!

First time visiting today and we were so impressed! Easy to order (service was great!), reasonable prices, cute enough patio. Then the food comes and OMG the Carne Asada fries are ! The fries keep their firmness and the beef is just great. The burgers (even the single Bucket Burger) were also great. My son had the Eagle burger with bacon and fries inside. We will definitely be back!

Really good prices and food. So happy they were open. Everywhere else was closed. The burgers are exactly what you need on a cold night. Shout out to the dope cashier who turned the heater on. Definitely will be back.
